September 30 FireFor those of you who don't know yet, I got my fire poi on Wednesday.

I'm going to make myself a set of fire poi next week and I'm doing my first burn on the 30th of September at a friends party. Hopefully someone will be able to take some pics so I can upload them as well.
Anyway, went out with Jade last night, we had a really good time. Played some pool, drank some beer and talked a bit.

September 16 My life at the momentRight, so I've decided to start keeping a blog. Don't really know why, just something to do I guess. I'm currently recovering from a pretty nasty throat infection and have just spent the last week in bed. It gave me some time to have a look at my life and where I'm actually going. The answer I came to was that I still haven't got a clue. I don't know if this is due to a lack of ambition or just because I can't make up my mind. Career wise I've never really had the drive to focus all my effort into building an empire. I kinda go with the flow and take each day as it comes. Why waste all that energy on worrying about tomorrow when I could use it to get the most out of today . Most people would say I'm wasting my life being a hedonist, but then again I've never really worried about what other people thought. Either you like me for who I am or you don't. I have however realised that I do spend a lot of time chasing after a perfect relationship that's never going to happen. I'm just about ready to give up on woman. The last couple of relationships I've had have been complete disasters. I seem to attract woman who can't seem to make up their mind about what they want. Oh well, maybe I'll just give it a rest for a while and focus on my new hobby. I've recently disovered the joy of poi. It's loads of fun and looks really cool. I've mademyself some really cool tailed poi and I'm working my way up to fire poi. I'll post some pics as soon as I've downloaded them from the digital camera. I've also started playing lawn bowls, yeah I know people tend to think of it as old man's marbles, but it's actually a really cool sport and I seem to have a natural ability for it. Anyway, that's enough for now. I'm playing bowls tomorrow and I'm looking forward to a good game. |
