Like drops of silver, your tears fall

Pooling in a lake of sorrow

Your struggle resonates into my soul

I want to help you fight this battle

I want to kill the dragon

This dragon that has broken your wings

I watch helplessly from the side

Knowing that I cannot fight this fight

I can help you mend your wings

But I cannot kill the dragon

Only you can slay this dragon

I watch the battle rage

Between an angel and a dragon

I know you will triumph

For you are a dragon slayer
